Updates Updates!!

The past few weeks have been extremely busy, so this post will be somewhat scattered:

Since the last post, I've gotten to play two Writer's Nights at Hotel Indigo as well as the Billy Block Show at the Rutledge.

I've been over at the studio (Zodlounge) plugging away on this new album and I am so thrilled with our work so far...can't wait for you all to hear it! For a sneak peak, click the link to check out this short clip of us working on a rough vocal of the song 'Just Go' --> Kree Woods in the studio

Meanwhile, my second EP received a great review in Music Connection Magazine's May issue! I was completely humbled by the score, and cannot thank Music Connection enough!! Kobalt Night at The Listening Room Cafe!

This week I had the privilege of playing a set for Kobalt Night at The Listening Room Cafe. I was absolutely thrilled to be a part of the lineup of incredible singer/songwriters: Ella Mae Bowen, Steve Diamond, Elenowen, Steve Seskin, Steve Moakler and the lovely Shannon LaBrie to name a few! Major thanks to Jeff Skaggs and Chris Blair for inviting me to play!

PS. Shannon LaBrie officially landed one of her songs in the movie Cobu!!!! SO proud of her!!

Busy Bee

It's been a VERY busy week here in Nashville. Wednesday's show at 3rd and Lindsley was so much fun and then Friday's Zod Night was amazing! Pictures below:

On Saturday morning at 7:00 AM we began shooting the music video for 'Green.' Really excited for you all to see it in the next month or so!

Shannon LaBrie is playing a set tomorrow night at 3rd and Lindsley in Nashville @ 7:30. Zodlounge is backing her up and I'll be singing harmony! Shannon is an INCREDIBLE talent and such a fun friend. Here's a video of us from a few weeks ago...this should provide some insight into how great she is.

Back in business!

BACK IN BUSINESS...

Alright everyone...this time I'm serious. Although my past track record for blogging has been pretty lackluster, I'm going to give this another go. A lot has been happening on the music front and several remote friends have requested that I reinstate the blog as a means of keeping them in the loop. Since I'm not necessarily good at keeping up on the phone either, I'm happy to oblige this way.

For those of you who didn't know, the Zodlounge Crew went on a crazy trip to SXSW last month. We had the privilege of performing 3 shows right off of 6th street in Downtown Austin. It was an unbelievable experience, and I'm already looking forward to going again next year. (See some pictures below).

In other exciting news, I'm thrilled to announce that I'm writing/recording the 3rd Album. This time we're compiling a full record, and I'm so PUMPED about this project. I'll be releasing more information about how to get engaged on this endeavor in the next week!

Lastly, if you're in the Nashville (or surrounding) area, please come out on Friday April, 13th for a show at 12th and Porter! Shannon LaBrie, Charity Vance and I will all be singing some sets (similar to what we played in Austin) so you'll definitely want to be at this show if you can!
